Jingliang Li (8-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) was set to face Danny Mitchell (14-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC 173 later this month, but now everything has changed.
An injury has forced Mitchell out of the contest with Jingliang Li that was scheduled for the prelim side of the card.
Danny Mitchell is coming off a loss to Igor Araujo via unanimous decision in his UFC debut back in March of this year at UFC Fight Night Gustafsson vs. Manuwa. Prior to that fight, he was on a two fight winning streak. He beat Victor Peixoto via twister submission and then over Besam Yousef via (Rear-Naked choke.
