A very even match up going into this one, but after the two fighters exchange strikes, Cruickshank landed that sick head kick and then a flurry of elbows that could have been stopped way earlier than it did. Cruickshank looks very impressive coming out of this fight.

He lost to John Makdessi via Unanimous decision in March of 2013. He beat Yves Edwards via Split decision in July of 2013. He lost to Adriano Martins via armbar in the 2nd Rd in November of 2013. Prior to this fight he beat Mike Rio via 2nd Rd TKO in January of 2014.
Erik Koch is coming into this fight on a one fight winning streak. He has four knockouts, 7 submissions and 3 decision victories in his MMA career. The longtime WEC fighter made his UFC debut back in March of 2011 against Raphael Assuncao which he won that fight with a 1st Rd knockout. He followed it up with a win over Jonathan Brookins via unanimous decision in September of that same year. He lost to Ricardo Lamas via 2nd rd TKO in January of 2013 and then another loss to Dustin Poirier in August of that same year via Unanimous decision. In his last fight, he got back into the WIN column over Rafaello Oliveira in February.
