Soa Palelei: ‘I’m Here To Stay For A Long Time”

Soa Palelei

Soa Palelei showed why he is the hulk in his fight with Ruan Potts. Palelei did not waste much time and took him down.

“My last 11 fights have been knockouts, and my ground-and-pound, if I get on top of you, you’re not going anywhere,” Palelei said“It’s one of those that it’s always good to get a win like that.”

“I was really pushing to get back in the UFC,” Palelei said. “Now I’m here, and I deserve to be here. I’m going to keep learning, keep pushing and keep climbing up the ranks.”

Give Potts credit by looking for two chokes and one armbar attempts, but Palelei caught him with a left hook while in mount to knock him out with one punch.

“We’ll see what happens with my management team and Joe Silva. Whoever they want me to fight, I’ll fight,” said Palelei, who will turn 37 in July. “I’m here to stay – not for today, but for a long time. I deserve to be here the same as other guys here.”

He made his UFC debut against at Nikita Krylov UFC 164 – Henderson vs. Pettis 2 on Aug / 31 / 2013 which he won that fight via 3rd Rd TKO. In his last fight he beat Pat Barry via 1st Rd KO at UFC Fight Night – Hunt vs. Bigfoot on Dec / 07 / 2013. The most amazing stat is that he is coming into this fight with ten straight knockout victories and now has eleven straight knockout victories.
