With a big fight, comes a large amount of promotion, Tito Ortiz spoke with the media on Friday to talk about his upcoming fight with Alexander Shlemenko on Saturday night at Bellator 120.

“This Russian called me out, and I think he made a big mistake,” Ortiz said. “He was counting his chickens before they hatched, and this is a man that’s neither a chicken nor an egg – and I’m going to smash him like an egg.”

Ortiz comes into this fight with 8 knockouts, 3 submissions and 5 decision victories, but also has been knocked out four times, submitted twice in his MMA career. Ortiz is 2-6-1 in his last ten and 1-3 in his last five fights. His last win was over Ryan Bader via Guillotine choke at UFC 132 – Cruz vs. Faber 2 on Jul / 02 / 2011.

“Wrestling, stand up everything – I’m ready to fight,” Ortiz said. “I’m ready for 15 minutes of hell.”

Tito was suppose to make his Bellator debut against Rampage Jackson on November 2, 2013 at Bellator 106. However, on October 25, it was announced that Ortiz suffered a neck injury and had to pull out of his fight with Jackson.
