Rampage Jackson Def. King Mo Via Unanimous Decision At Bellator 120

With all of the talk, all of the back and forth between the two fighters, Rampage and King Mo went out and had a good fight. Even though Rampage control the striking side, Mo control the ground game. Even thought it went three rounds, both fights wanted to fight each other and are already calling for a rematch. If that is the case, then we will let you know. Quinton Jackson def. Rampage Jackson has 34 – 11 – 0 MMA record leading into this fight. The former Pride fighter, but more importantly former UFC Heavyweight Fighter. One of the most known fighters in the world. Due to his persona and likeability, Rampage brings entertainment inside and outside the cage. He has 16 knockouts, 7 submissions and 11 decisions in his MMA career. He has been knocked out 3 times, submitted twice and lost by decision five times. In his last five fights he holds a record of 2-3. He won the UFC Light Heavyweight title back against Chuck Liddell at UFC 71 – Liddell vs. Jackson on May / 26 / 2007 via 1st Rd TKO. That was only his second fight in the UFC. He went on to beat Dan Henderson in his first title defense at UFC 75 – Champion vs. Champion on Sep / 08 / 2007 which he won by via Unanimous decision.

He lost the title to Forrest Griffin via Unanimous decision at UFC 86 – Jackson vs. Griffin on Jul / 05 / 2008. The next time he got a shot at the gold was against Jon Jones in 2011, but lost that fight at UFC 135 via rear naked choke in the fourth round. He dropped two more fights after that. He lost to Ryan Bader via Unanimous decision at UFC 144 in 2012 and then in his last UFC fight against Glover Teixeira via Unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 6 – Johnson vs. Dodson on Jan / 26 / 2013.

He was granted his release and signed with Bellator MMA. In his Bellator debut, he beat Joey Beltran at Bellator MMA – Bellator 108 on Nov / 15 / 2013 via 1st Rd TKO. In his next fight he beat Christian M’Pumbu at Bellator MMA – Bellator 110 on Feb / 28 / 2014 via 1st Rd KO.

King Mo (12-3 MMA, 4-2 Bellator) is known for his character and his fighting. Really his name should be King Mo instead of Muhammed because that is what he is famous for. He has 9 knockouts, zero submissions and 3 decisions. He has been knocked out twice, but never submitted. In only his second fight in Strikeforce, he beat Gegard Mousasi via Unanimous decision at Strikeforce – Nashville on Apr / 17 / 2010. He lost the title in his next fight against Rafael Cavalcante via 3rd Rd TKO at Strikeforce – Houston on Aug / 21 / 2010. He won his next fight against Roger Gracie, then a no contest against Lorenz Larkin. He made his Bellator debut against Przemyslaw Mysiala which he won via 1st Rd TKO at Bellator 86 on Jan / 24 / 2013. He lost to Emanuel Newton via 1st Rd KO at Bellator 90 on Feb / 21 / 2013.

Lawal got a two fight winning streak going when he beat Seth Petruzelli via 1st Rd KO at Bellator 96 and then a TKO victory over Jacob Noe at Bellator 97. He lost to Emanuel Newton via Unanimous decision at Bellator 106 on Nov / 02 / 2013. In his last fight he beat Mikhail Zayats via Unanimous decision at Bellator 110 on Feb / 28 / 2014.
