Cung Le Vs. Michael Bisping Set For August

UFC is going to Asia and is having some sick fights for the card, UFC officials have announced Middleweights Cung Le (9-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and Michael Bisping (24-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) will headline the “Fight Night” card in Macau.

Cung Le has eight knockouts, zero submissions and 1 decision victor while he has been knocked out twice. Prior to joining the UFC he was 1-1 in his last two fights. He lost to Scott Smith via knockout at Strikeforce – Evolution on Dec / 19 / 2009, but beat Scott Smith via knockout at in his next fight at Strikeforce / M-1 Global – Fedor vs. Werdum on Jun / 26 / 2010. He made his UFC debut against Wanderlei Silva which he lost via knockout at UFC 139 – Shogun vs. Henderson on Nov / 19 / 2011. He has won his last two fights, a win over Patrick Cote via unanimous decision at UFC 148 – Silva vs. Sonnen 2 on Jul / 07 / 2012 and then Rich Franklin via knockout at UFC on Fuel TV 6 – Franklin vs. Le on Nov / 10 / 2012.

UFC President Dana White announced the fight following UFC 173 Dillashaw – Barao on Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Michael Bisping has 14 knockouts, 4 submissions and 6 decision victories, while he has been knocked out twice and lost by decision four times. The long time UFC fighter has been with the UFC since 2006. In his last four fights, he is 2-2. He beat Brian Stann via unanimous decision at UFC 152 – Jones vs. Belfort on Sep / 22 / 2012, but lost to Vitor Belfort via knockout at UFC on FX 7 – Belfort vs. Bisping on Jan / 19 / 2013. He once again got a win and this time over Alan Belcher via unanimous decision at UFC 159 – Jones vs. Sonnen on Apr / 27 / 2013, however in his last fight he lost to Tim Kennedy via unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale on Apr / 16 / 2014.

We do not have a date or a location, but the fights go down in August.
