John Dodson Speaks On Possible Rematches With T.J Dillashaw & Demetrious Johnson

Andrew Ravens

T.j. Dillashaw

John Dodson (15-6) is set to face John Moraga (14-2) tomorrow night at UFC Fight Night 42. He spoke to reporters on Thursday’s Media day, check out some of the things he talked about.

Possible rematch with UFC Bantamweight Champion T.J Dillashaw: “I know how much it sucks to lose to somebody, so if he ever wants to run that back, we could.”

John Dodson has seven knockouts, two submissions and six decision victories, while he has never been knocked out, but lost by decision six times.

Possible rematch with UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson: “It lines up really well, but we’ve got to make sure that somebody else has to stay healthy all the time. We’ve already seen Demetrious Johnson always pulling out of fights because of the fact that he’s either had a shoulder, a back, a leg – he’s always had injuries coming in and out of all these things. I know I’ll be fine, and if he’s not ready to go, well, I’m going to hit that Donald Cerrone plan and tell Dana White, ‘Yo, let me fight anybody.'”

In his last fight, he beat Darrell Montague via knockout at UFC 166 – Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3 on Oct / 19 / 2013.

The event airs from New Mexico at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque.
