Benson Henderson proved why he is a former Lightweight Champion and the number two lightweight in the world in his fight with Rustam Khabilov. Benson Henderson had control throughout this fight, but makes no means about it, Khabilov brought his A game into this fight and gave us a fight. The end came when Ben with a left hand, they clinch, but break. Ben with a lead right that drops Khabilov and Ben get’s his back which leads to the rear naked choke for the win.

He lost his title against Anthony Pettis armbar at UFC 164 – Henderson vs. Pettis 2 on Aug / 31 / 2013. In his last fight he beat Josh Thomson via split decision at UFC on Fox 10 – Henderson vs. Thomson on Jan / 25 / 2014.
