Andrei Arlovski (21-10 MMA, 10-4 UFC)does not believe that his opponent come Saturday night at UFC 174 in Brendan Schaub (10-3) has a glass jaw:
“I think it’s all BS. People say I had a glass jaw or weak chin, too, and when I fought Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson, the referee fell asleep, and I had the broken jaw in the first round because the referee made a mistake. I fought the second and third rounds with a broken jaw in two places, and he didn’t finish me. I think it’s all bull—t. The heavyweight division, if you land a good, good punch in the right place, everybody is going to fall.”
“I’m very excited. He’s tough. He’s top-14, 15, said Arlovski. I’m not even top-20 or 25, so it’s a very important fight for me. I need to prove I’m one of the best fighters in the world. I have to beat the people that are in front of me.”
Andrei Arlovski (21-10) will be making his return to the UFC in this fight. He has 15 knockouts, 3 submissions and 3 decision victories in his MMA career. He is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. He has beaten some of the biggest names in the sport with wins over Tim Sylvia, Fabricio Werdum and Roy Nelson.
