Kyle Kingsbury – Patrick Cummins Added To UFC on Fox 12

The UFC has added a light heavyweight bout between Kyle Kingsbury (11-5 MMA, 4-4 UFC) and Patrick Cummins (5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) to UFC on Fox 12.

Cummins has two knockouts and two submission victories in his MMA career. Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a three fight winning streak all coming in the first round. He is known for his fight with Daniel Cormier, which he lost via TKO in the first round back at UFC 170 – Rousey vs. McMann on Feb / 22 / 2014. He is coming off a win over Roger Narvaez at UFC Fight Night – Henderson vs. Khabilov on Jun / 07 / 2014.

Kyle Kingsbury has been retired since 2012, he dropped three straight losses and decided to dive into retirement. He lost to Stephan Bonnar, Glover Teixeira and Jimi Manuwa.

UFC on FOX 12 takes place July 26 at SAP Center in San Jose. The prelims air on Fight Pass and Fox Sports 1, while the main card will air on big Fox.

The main event will be Matt Brown vs. Robbie Lawler, while the main card will be Anthony Johnson vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
