UFC 174: Rory MacDonald vs. Tyron Woodley full fight video highlights

Down below is MMA Frenzy’s play-by-play of this fight:

Round 1: Rory is very aggressive, the fans are behind him. They clinch, Woodley puts him on the fence. They break, Woodley with a left kick to the body of Rory. Rory with a elbow, Woodley goes for a single leg, but lets it go. Rory keeps throwing a front kick, but does not land. Rory with a knee to the body, but Woodley clinches and puts him on the fence. “Let’s go Rory” chants break out. Woodley lets go and Rory hits a head kick. Woodley with a big right hand and gets a double leg takedown. Rory gets right back up, Rory lands the up kick. Woodley catches the next kick, Rory with a straight right to the body of Woodley. Rory with a flurry of shots to end the round.

Round 2: Rory with an axe kick, but Woodley gets his shots in. Rory looks for a takedown for a moment, but lets it go. Rory with a leading jab, Woodley with a leg kick. Rory with a head kick. Rory with a head/body combo. Woodley with back to back right hands. Rory with more strikes, he is tuning him up. Rory stays the aggressor and is really throwing Woodley off his game. Rory stays on Woodley and really picks him apart. Rory lands a big right hand that stuns Woodley. They trade to the bell.

Round 3: Woodley comes out and starts swinging for the fences. Rory is just trying to duck in and out to avoid these strikes. Woodley slows down, Rory lands a few jabs. Rory lands a body kick, Rory starting to pick apart the body of Woodley. Rory gets a single leg takedown and slides into half guard. Woodley attempts to get up, but Rory stays on him. Woodley tries up kicks, but Rory gets full mount for a moment. He is in side control, he rains down strikes and we go to the bell.

Result: Rory MacDonald def. Tyron Woodley via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Ryan Bader vs. Rafael Cavalcante full fight video highlights

Down below is MMA Frenzy’s play-by-play of this fight:

Round 1: Bader looking for a stepping left hook. He lands a head kick and a right hand. Bader shoots and gets a takedown, it only last for a moment and Cavalcante gets to his feet. Bader has his back, while putting pressure on Cavalcante that leads to a waist lock takedown. Cavalcante right back to his feet. Bader maintains control, and gets another half takedown. They stand and exchange. Bader shoots in once more with a double leg and gets him to the ground. Bader ground and pounds Cavalcante. He is mixing it up nicely to end the round. Strong round for Bader.

Round 2: Cavalcante with a spinning back kick that lands in the body of Bader. However, that will not stop Bader as he shoots in, but stuffed. Cavalcante misses a straight right and looks to find his groove. Bader shoots, but takes the clinch instead. He puts the pressure on Cavalcante, but Cavalcante prevails and spins out. Bader with a left hook that leads to a takedown and he fails into half guard. He get’s the back of Cavalcante, he works the thighs of Cavalcante with knees. Cavalcante makes his way to his feet, Bader is making his feet move and really shaping this round. Bader with a swing and a miss. Cavalcante is tired, Bader with a straight right and a attempted takedown. Cavalcante lands a big right hand. Bader with an overhand right. Bader gets a late takedown to this round.

Round 3: Cavalcante with huge bombs to kick off the round. Bader shoots and they clinch on the fence. Cavalcante is looking for the finish, Bader drops down and gives Cavalcante his neck. Bader stands and is thrown back. Bader clinches and puts pressure on Cavalcante while on the fence. They are broken up, Bader with another takedown and really is just trying to make it to the bell.

Result: Ryan Bader def. Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
