Chris Weidman Special To Air This Week On Fox Sports 1

The UFC is hyping UFC 175 to be one of the biggest events of the year, with that being said, UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman will have a special titled “UFC Presents: The All-American Chris Weidman” debuts on FOX Sports 1 this evening at 8 p.m. ET. The hour-long feature shows the reigning middleweight champion and his journey to the tops.

The series will be about Weidman’s career from his early days in New York to defeating Anderson Silva and the coming into his fight with Lyoto Machida at UFC 175

Replays of the special are set for the many FOX affiliates throughout the rest of the week.

Site Reminder: UFC Fight Night 44 goes down next Saturday night on UFC Fight Pass and Fox Sports 1. MMA Frenzy will have the latest news leading up to, during and after the event, as well as having the latest and greatest live play-by-play coverage of the event. From the first fight of the prelim side of the card on Fight Pass and to the fight fight on the main card that airs on Fox Sports 1.  The headlining fight is Cub Swanson vs. Jeremy Stephens, the co-main event is Kelvin Gastelum vs. Nicholas Musoke.
