Jon Fitch spoke at the WSOF 11 press conference on Friday about his upcoming fight with Dennis Hallman, but he also spoke about Rousimar Palhares:
“I want to thank the World Series (of Fighting) for this opportunity to fight. I wish it was for the belt. I wish (Rousimar) Palhares would have manned up and showed up to fight, but I’ll take Dennis Hallman as a fight because I’ve resepcted him for a long time.”
Jon Fitch is also a former UFC fighter. He was cut in February of 2013. He has five knockouts, five submissions and 15 Decision wins in his career. He has been finished four times in his career (2 ko’s & 2 Submissions) In his last four fights he is 2-2. Since being in WSOF, he is 1-1. He lost in his debut against Josh Burkman via Guillotine Choke in June of 2013, but got his first win in the promotion with a split Decision over Marcelo Alfaya in October.
