A major rumored fight that is going around is Ricardo Lamas – Conor McGregor. Here is what Lamas had to say:
“I don’t pay attention to that guy. That’s exactly what he wants, said Lama. He’s just a loud mouth, and very unoriginal. I have been eating, sleeping and breathing Hacran Dias since the day I signed the contract. He’s in my sights now. Everyone else will have to wait.”
Lamas has been finished twice via knockout. Since switching over from the WEC he went on a four fight winning streak with a TKO victory over Matt Grice in Jun of 2011, an Arm-Triangle Choke victory of Club Swanson in November of 2011.
“I think it’ll be a very good fight” Lamas said. “Mendes is very dangerous and athletic, and if he learned from the first fight (Mendes was knocked out in the 1st round back at UFC 142) I think he can cause a lot of problems for Aldo.”
Conor McGregor tries to continue his ten fight winning streak and get that very elusive 11 fight win streak against Cole Miller. In his last four fights this is how his history goes. He beat Dave Hill via rear naked choke back in June of 2012 to win the vacant Cage Warriors FC Featherweight Championship.
“Right now I’m not thinking about another title shot. It is my main goal, but I just want to take it fight by fight.”
Ricardo Lamas takes on Hacran Dias Saturday night on UFC Fight Pass and Fox Sports 1. MMA Frenzy will have the latest news leading up to, during and after the event, as well as having the latest and greatest live play-by-play coverage of the event.
