Anthony Pettis just got a major sponsorship and it’s Reebok.
UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis (17-2) has signed a sponsorship deal with Reebok. It should be noted that Fellow UFC Welterweight Champion Johnny Hendricks also has a sponsorship with the company.
“It’s cool that they chose me. I’m sure they had a lot of guys they could’ve chose from and they wanted to choose me, said Pettis. For me, it’s an amazing opportunity. I definitely worked hard to be where I’m at right now and it’s cool to see it all unfold, see the brands that are recognizing mixed martial arts like that.”
Anthony Pettis (17-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) joined the UFC in 2011 and lost to Clay Guida via Unanimous Decision. He then went on to beat Jeremy Stephens, Joe Lauzon, Donald Cerrone and then for the belt, Benson Henderson. Pettis will meet and coach against Gilbert Melendez coach on the Ultimate Fighter 20 for the Women’s strawweight division, which debuts in September on FOX Sports 1 and will crown the first champ in the weight class.
