Thiago Alves (20-9 MMA, 12-6 UFC) was suppose to face Jordan Mein (28-9 MMA, 2-1 UFC) in the co-headliner of UFC Fight Night 49, which takes place Aug. 23 at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.

However, Alves had to pull out of that fight and the UFC is currently looking for a new opponent for Mein.

Thiago Alves has 11 knockouts, 2 submissions and 7 wins by decision. He is 2-2 in his last four fights, he beat Seth Baczynski by decision at UFC on Fox 11 – Werdum vs. Browne

Jordan Mein has 15 knockouts, 7 submissions and 6 wins by decision. He is 3-1 in his last four fights. He is coming off a win over Hernani Perpetuo via split decision at UFC on Fox 11 – Werdum vs. Browne on Apr / 19 / 2014.
