Neil Magny Replaces Matt Dwyer & Will Fight Alex Garcia At UFC Fight Night 49

The UFC announced that Welterweight Neil Magny (11-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) has replaced Matt Dwyer and will now meet Alex Garcia (12-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 49.

Magny has 2 knockouts, 2 submissions and 5 decision victories in his MMA career coming into this fight. He has been submitted twice in his career as well. He made his UFC debut against Jon Manley at UFC 157 back in February of 2013 and won the fight via Unanimous decision. He lost to Sergio Moraes at UFC 163 in August of 2013 via 1st Rd Triangle Choke. He lost to Seth Baczynski at UFC Fight Night – Fight for the Troops 3 back in November of 2013 via Unanimous decision. In his last fight he beat Gasan Umalatov at UFC 169 – Barao vs. Faber 2 on Feb / 01 / 2014. Therefore, making him 2-2 in his last four fights.

The headlined fight is between Rafael dos Anjos and Benson Henderson.

UFC Fight Night takes place Aug. 23 at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
