Fabricio Camoes – Gray Maynard Moved Back To UFC Fight Night 47

After UFC 176 got cancelled, the UFC is scrambling to to get the fighters who were set to fight on that card on different cards this year and soon. One of those fights is Fabricio Camoes (14-8-1 MMA, 1-3-1 UFC) and Gray Maynard (11-3-1 MMA, 9-3-1 UFC) which has been moved to UFC Fight Night 47.

UFC Fight Night 47 takes place Aug. 16 at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The event will air on Fight Pass and Fox Sports 1. Tickets for the event currently are on sale.

Fabricio Camoes have four knockouts, seven submissions and 3 decisions in his MMA career. He has been knocked out twice, submitted four times and lost by decision twice. Prior to joining the UFC he was on a seven fight winning streak. He had a majority draw against Caol Uno at UFC 106 – Ortiz vs. Griffin 2 on Nov / 21 / 2009 and then lost his next fight against Kurt Pellegrino via rear naked choke at UFC 111 – St. Pierre vs. Hardy
On Mar / 27 / 2010. He won his next two fights to make his UFC return against Tommy Hayden which he won via rear naked choke at UFC on FX – Guillard vs. Miller on Jan / 20 / 2012. However, he has lost his last two fights against Melvin Guillard via Unanimous Decision at UFC 168 – Weidman vs. Silva 2 on Dec / 28 / 2013 and then Jim Miller via armbar at UFC 148 – Silva vs. Sonnen 2 on Jul / 07 / 2012.

Gray Maynard has two knockouts and nine decisions victories, he has been knocked out three times. He made his UFC debut way back in 2007 with a no contest fight against Robert Emerson. He won his next eight fights with wins over Dennis Siver, Frankie Edgar, Jim Miller, Roger Huerta, Nate Diaz and Kenny Florian. He fought to a draw against Frankie Edgar at UFC 125 – Resolution on Jan / 01 / 2011. They had their rematch, but lost via KO at UFC 136 – Edgar vs. Maynard 3 on Oct / 08 / 2011. He beat Clay Guida via split decision at UFC on FX 4 – Maynard vs. Guida on Jun / 22 / 2012. However, he lost his last two fights, he lost to T.J. Grant via TKO at UFC 160 – Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2 on May / 25 / 2013 and then Nate Diaz via TKO at UFC – The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale on Nov / 30 / 2013.

The headlined fight is Ryan Bader vs. Ovince Saint Preux.
