When Will Georges St. Pierre Return To The Cage? – GSP Answers

Andrew Ravens

Georges St. Pierre

Ron Kruck caught up with Georges St. Pierre to discuss the champion fighter’s future plans for MMA.

GSP won the Welterweight belt against Matt Serra back in 2008. He went onto to beat Jon Fitch, B.J. Penn, Thiago Alves, Dan Hardy and Josh Koscheck.

In his last four fights he went undefeated, but was his closest fights to date. He beat Jake Shields via Unanimous Decision at UFC 129 – St. Pierre vs. Shields on Apr / 30 / 2011, Carlos Condit via Unanimous Decision at UFC 154 – St. Pierre vs. Condit on Nov / 17 / 2012 and then Nick Diaz via Unanimous Decision at UFC 158 – St. Pierre vs. Diaz on Mar / 16 / 2013.

His last fight was against Johny Hendricks that he won by split Decision, which a lot of people thought that Hendricks won that fight at UFC 167 in November of 2013. He retired right after that fight.
