Urijah Faber

Even though Urijah Faber won the fight against Alex Caceres At UFC 175, he was apparently dealing with an injury that occurred during that fight.

“It was just a little knee,” Faber told MMAjunkie Radio soon after the event. “It hit me kind of in the side left, where there’s not much muscle. I don’t think it takes much pressure to break a rib.”

With that kind of injury, Faber will not be able to fight at UFC 177 like he planned on doing.

Faber is looking for a return later in the year.

“I felt it here and there,” he said. “In the second round, I felt it for sure. But it wasn’t like a debilitating thing.”

Urijah Faber (31-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) has seven knockouts, 18 submissions and 5 decision victories, he has been knocked out three times in his MMA career. In his last four fights he is 3-1.
