Leslie Smith Makes Short Work Of Jessamyn Duke At UFC Fight Night 45

These women started and ended their fight at UFC Fight Night 45 in good fashion. Leslie Smith had the upper hand for what was a short fight and that led her to victory over Jessamyn Duke by TKO.

Jessamyn Duke (3-2) She has one knockout, one submission and one win by decision. She competed in Invicta FC three times. She made her UFC debut against Peggy Morgan and won via Unanimous Decision at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale on Nov / 30 / 2013. In her next fight she faced Bethe Correia, but lost via Unanimous Decision at UFC 172 – Jones vs. Teixeira on Apr / 26 / 2014.

Leslie Smith is 1-3 in her last four fights. She is 1-2 in her last three and dropped her last two fights.

Round 1: They exchange right out of the gate. Smith with a big right hand that hurts Duke and it makes her start to bleed. Duke goes to the body, but Smith lands a left hook. She follows it up with a nice combo. Smith throws a kick, but Duke catches it and lands a flurry of rights. Smith fires back, she back Duke into the cage and is all over Duke. She swarms her and Duke falls while holding her stomach. This one is over!
