Unfortunately, Jessamyn Duke lost at UFC Fight Night 45 in her fight against Leslie Smith and to add insult to injury she broke her hand as well. She posted the following on Instagram, revealing that she suffered a broken hand in the fight:

“Prefight interview I said @lesliesmithmma had a brick head & could take a lot of punishment. Karma. #ufcfightnight45 #gunclub”

Jessamyn Duke (3-2) She has one knockout, one submission and one win by decision. She competed in Invicta FC three times. She made her UFC debut against Peggy Morgan and won via Unanimous Decision at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale on Nov / 30 / 2013. In her next fight she faced Bethe Correia, but lost via Unanimous Decision at UFC 172 – Jones vs. Teixeira on Apr / 26 / 2014.

UFC Fight Night 45 took place from Atlantic City, New Jersey at the Revel Casino with Donald Cerrone defeating Jim Miller in the main event with a sick head kick and in the co-main event, Edson Barboza finished Evan Dunham with a flick kick to the body of Dunham to earn his fourth kick finish of his career.
