Patrick Cummins might have had a rough start in the worlds largest MMA promotion in fighting Daniel Cormier, but Cummins has really started to come into his own in his last two outings inside the Octagon.

“I think I’m in a unique situation,”. “I’m growing up in the octagon. It doesn’t sound right because I’m 33 years old, but I have very little experience, and what I have is from the UFC. My goal when I go out there is to just keep getting better and better every single time.”

Patrick Cummins (6-1) has two knockouts and two submission victories in his MMA career.

“If there was one thing I would liked to have improved on, (it) would’ve been scoring on my transitions, so I’ll work on that in my next camp,” he said. “I want to stay active and keep fighting.”

Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a three fight winning streak all coming in the first round. He is known for his fight with Daniel Cormier, which he lost via TKO in the first round back at UFC 170 – Rousey vs. McMann on Feb / 22 / 2014.

“The biggest thing I can do is just get as much experience as possible. The goal is to just keep taking on guys ranked above me and moving up the ladder.”

He is coming off a win over Roger Narvaez at UFC Fight Night – Henderson vs. Khabilov on Jun / 07 / 2014 prior to UFC on Fox 12. He then beat Kyle Kingsbury at UFC On Fox 12.

His next fight is not known at this time.
