Current UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman’s fight coach and trainer Ray Longo is not comfortable at all with the Vitor Belfort fight.
“I’m definitely not comfortable. I just hope the guy passes the drug test. I hope the guy mans up and does what he has to as a man and for his kids and to set a good example. Instead of talking about it, just do it, said Longo. Take the drug tests, pass them, and let’s get the fight on.”
Chris Weidman (12-0) Has five knockouts, three submissions and 4 decision victories.
“We’re going to prepare for the TRT version of Vitor Belfort. We’re going to prepare for the best Vitor Belfort there is. Weidman loves to test himself. He’ll beat him on steroids, off steroids – it doesn’t matter. We want to make it fair and we want the best Belfort there is.”
Weidman beat Anderson Silva via KO at UFC 162 – Silva vs. Weidman on Jul / 06 / 2013 to win the Middleweight title. He would then go on to retain the title in a back to back fight with Silva when he won the fight via TKO at UFC 168 – Weidman vs. Silva 2 on Dec / 28 / 2013.
