With Ireland-based broadcaster Setanta Sports, the UFC’s television partner in the UK, reportedly on the verge of collapse due to financial issues, concerns have been raised over whether UFC 99, taking place this Saturday in Cologne, Germany, will air in the country, which has six fighters featured on the card.
According to UFC President Dana White, UFC 99 “will be on TV” in the UK, with the promotion apparently working out a last minute deal that could see the card broadcast on Bravo should Setanta not make in through Saturday.
“Hang tight we will be on tv. Either setanta or bravo. We are working on it,” wrote White on Twitter.
