Main Card For UFC 180 Revealed

The UFC announced the main card for UFC 180 on Tuesday that features a UFC Heavyweight Title bout between champion Cain Velasquez and challenger Fabricio Werdum.

UFC 180 is headlined by Cain Velasquez – Fabricio Werdum for the UFC Heavyweight title. The Show takes place on November 15th in Mexico City, Mexico.

The main card kicks off with Erik Perez vs. Marcus Brimage.

Marcus Brimage (6-3) Has two knockouts and four wins by decision. He has been knocked out once and submitted once. Prior to joining the UFC, he was 3-1 in his last four fights. He made his UFC debut against Stephen Bass via via unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale on Dec / 03 / 2011. He then won his next two fights over Maximo Blanco via split decision at UFC 145 – Jones vs. Evans on Apr / 21 / 2012 and then Jim Hettes via unanimous decision at UFC 152 – Jones vs. Belfort on Sep / 22 / 2012. In his next fight prior to UFC Fight Night 44, he lost to Conor McGregor via TKO at UFC on Fuel TV 9 – Mousasi vs. Latifi on Apr / 06 / 2013. In his last fight he lost to Russell Doane at UFC 175 by split decision.

Erik Perez (14-6) Has four knockouts, seven submissions and three descion victories, while he has never been knocked out, he has lost by decision four times. Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a five fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against John Albert, which he won via armbar. In his next four fights, he is 3-1. He beat Ken Stone via knockout at UFC 150 – Henderson vs. Edgar 2 on Aug / 11 / 2012 and then Byron Bloodworth via knockout at UFC 155 – Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2 on Dec / 29 / 2012. He lost to Takeya Mizugaki via split decision at UFC Fight Night – Condit vs. Kampmann 2 on Aug / 28 / 2013, but in his last fight, he beat Edwin Figueroa via unanimous decision at UFC 167 – St. Pierre vs. Hendricks on Nov / 16 / 2013. In his last fight he lost to Bryan Caraway at UFC Fight Night 42.
