Whether you love him or hate him (or you’re kind of ambivalent about the dude…), there’s no denying that Conor McGregor’s had a ton of success since arriving in the UFC. Sure, he’s only had three fights in the organization and has yet to face a top contender, but not many guys get to headline a show just a couple of bouts into their UFC tenure.
This Saturday, McGregor will take on his toughest test to date in featherweight contender Dustin Poirier, and the UFC has begun releasing it’s “Embedded” video series for the card.
In the first episode, documenters follow McGregor as he watches UFC Fight Night 52, from a pretty sweet looking Las Vegas suite. Not only that, but UFC boss man Dana White evidently decided to watch the fights with McGregor and his crew…How often do you see that?
The clip also includes footage of the much more reserved Poirier, as he prepares for the September 27th, UFC 178 card. It should be a thrilling scrap and evening.
