Chris Weidman’s fanbase is surely about to get that much bigger, as the UFC’s middleweight champ apparently saved his neighbour’s life today in New York State…
Weidman’s wife reported the incident, and her husband’s heroic act, on Instagram recently:
Shout out to this man @chrisweidmanufc who just saved our 92 year old neighbors life. She fell onto a glass table and had pieces stuck in her head. She was in her driveway bleeding out in the rain trying to call her daughter on the phone. Chris ran over and brought her inside, cleaned her up and called 911. #myhero
Now the undefeated fighter hasn’t provided his take on what went down, but Weidman has re-tweeted his wife’s post and also stated:
Wow just went through a crazy experience. I'll tell yah when I get some time on my fb later. Life is nuts.

The 30 year-old Weidman is coming off a unanimous decision win over Lyoto Machida in July, and was expected to fight Vitor Belfort on December 6th, until he injured his hand and had to pull out. The two are expected to battle in early 2015.
