CM Punk (real name Phil Brooks) is taking a bold risk, stepping into the UFC with a record of 0-0. UFC president Dana White said he’s going to let Punk fight someone with a similar record, but who knows if that’s true.

Jason David Frank has pitched the idea for years of facing CM Punk. The idea seemed farfetched at the time with Punk under a lengthy WWE contract and the UFC not looking to sign the Green Power Ranger. Frank hasn't fought since 2010, after he went 4-0 on the amateur circuit and then took a victory in his lone professional fight. All of Frank’s wins ended in round one and he's the perfect candidate for Punk's MMA debut.
