Two UFC newcomers will look to get things started in the right direction at UFC 105 on November 15th in Machester, England. Former EliteXC fighter Jared Hamman will look to end the undefeated streak of fellow UFC debutant Alexander Gustafsson on the events preliminary card. According to reports by MMAJunkie the bout agreements have been reached, though the UFC has yet to officially announce it.
Hamman was last in action in August of 2008 when he avenged his only loss against Poai Suganuma. Throughout his career, Hamman has amassed a 10-1 MMA record, having never gone the distance in a fight.
Gustafsson is a Swedish fighter who was last in action against Vladimir Shemarov at SC 3: Untamed, in Stockholm, Sweden. He is thus far undefeated in his eight fight MMA career, with six knockouts, one submission, and one decision.
UFC 105 is expected to air on Spike TV and also features Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang and Dan Hardy vs. Dong Hyun Kim, and is rumored to be headlined By Dan Henderson vs. Nate Marquardt.
