In a very late addition to the UFC 76 card Rich Clementi will take on Anthony Johnson next weekend in Anaheim. The bout takes the place of a cancelled bout between Wilson Gouveia and Jason Lambert.Â The UFC had announced that the event was to feature just 8 fights but they have found 2 willing fighters to fill in for the remaining bout.
Clementi holds a 25-12-1 mixed martial arts record including one win and three losses in the UFC. He was defeated by Roan Carneiro at UFC Fight Night 9 in June in his last UFC bout. In his last MMA fight on September 1st Clementi defeated Kyle Gibbons by round 1 submission at an IFO event headlined by Travis Wiuff and Sean Salmon.
Johnson comes into the bout undefeated with a 4-0 record. In his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 10 Johnson surprised fans with a 13-second knockout victory over Chad Reiner.
