An injury has forced Tim Credeur to withdraw from his scheduled matchup with Mike Massenzio at UFC Fight Night 20, but The Ultimate Fighter 7 cast member Gerald Harris has been tapped to make his UFC debut against Massenzio on the preliminary card of the Spike TV-televised event, according to Fanhouse.
Harris (13-2), eliminated in the second-round of TUF 7 by eventual winner Amir Sadollah, has won seven-straight, including a first-round knockout of Nissen Osterneck in September to win the Shark Fights middleweight title.
Massenzio (11-3) debuted in the UFC last September with a first-round submission of Drew McFedries, but next suffered a knockout at the hands of CB Dollaway in December then underwent surgeries on his knee and neck that have kept him out of action for over a year.
UFC Fight Night 20, which takes place on January 11 in Fairfax, Virginia, is headlined by Gray Maynard vs. Nate Diaz and also features Evan Dunham vs. Efrain Escudero, Tom Lawlor vs. Aaron Simpson, and Brad Blackburn vs. Amir Sadollah.
