Frank Shamrock Set to Return at March Strikeforce Event

Frank ShamrockVeteran middleweight Frank Shamrock has been booked to return to action at a to-be-announced Strikeforce event slated for early-March, Shamrock announced during a recent appearance on Fanhouse’s The MMA Hour.

An opponent was not revealed for the bout.

Shamrock (23-10-2), a former UFC, WEC, and Pancrase champion, went undefeated in 12 fights from 1997 through 2006 before losing by disqualification to Renzo Gracie at EliteXC’s debut event in early-2007. “The Legend” won the Strikeforce middleweight title with a victory over Phil Baroni in mid-2007, but lost the belt to Cung Le in March 2008. Shamrock return in April against Nick Diaz, but suffered a second-round TKO.
