Bellator Champs Patricio “Pitbull” And Will Brooks Are Reporting Pre-Card Brawl

Kelsey Mowatt

Bellator has a big event scheduled for Friday night, but right now, the internet’s a blaze regarding a reported brawl between two of its champs.

If you follow Bellator, then you know that lightweight champ Will Brooks and featherweight champ Patricio “Pitbull” Freire don’t care for one another. Well, apparently that’s led to some sort of of pre-card altercation, as recently the tweets below were sent out:

Yikes. So, now it will be interesting to see what evidence actually surfaces, and whether Bellator or authorities take any action.

Brooks is supposed to fight Marcin Held on Friday at Bellator 145, and Patricio “Pitbull” is booked to take on Daniel Straus. Patricky Freire isn’t scheduled to compete.

Bellator 145 will be hosted by the Scottrade Center in St.Louis, and the main card will be broadcast on Spike. Other bouts scheduled for the event include Michael Chandler vs. David Rickels, Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson and Justin Lawrence vs. Emmanuel Sanchez.

If you weren’t planning to watch the card before, perhaps you’ve changed your mind? All the drama aside, “Pitbull”-Straus III should be reason enough.
