There’s been a few retirement announcements this year that surprised quite a few folks, and now Cathal Pendred’s decision to hang up the gloves is probably doing the same.
Yes, the Irish welterweight has announced that he’s retiring from professional fighting, following his stoppage loss to Tom Breese in October. Pendred, who is only 28 years-old and went 4-2 in the UFC, announced his decision on Twitter.
