UFC on FOX 17 Weigh-Ins: RDA – Cerrone II is Official But Two Fighters Miss Weight on First Try

Rafael dos Anjos

The weigh-ins for UFC on FOX 17 tomorrow night have concluded, and both Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone made weight for the card’s headliner.

The lightweight champion dos Anjos tipped the scales at 154.5 for the fight, and Cerrone did the same. The two met before in 2013, and the latter lost the bout via unanimous decision.

Danny Castillo and Charles Oliveira both came in over on their first attempts, especially the latter.

Castillo came in at 158 for his lightweight scrap with Nik Lentz, and Oliveira was 150.5 for his featherweight bout with Myles Jury. Both fighters shook their heads with disbelief after coming in over, and were taking issue with the scale.
