The Ultimate Fighter 9 lightweight winner Ross Pearson is expected to take on Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 21, according to Fighters Only, while a lightweight bout between Gleison Tibau and Caol Uno has also been added to the March 31 card in North Carolina, according to Tatame.
Pearson (10-3) topped Andre Winner by unanimous decision to win The Ultimate Fighter 9 last June, then stopped Aaron Riley in the second-round due to a cut in November in his last bout. Siver (15-6) began his UFC career with a 1-3 mark, but has won three-straight over Nate Mohr, Dale Hartt, and Paul Kelly since returning last January.
Tibau (20-6) has won 3 of his last 4, including a unanimous decision victory over Josh Neer in October in his most-recent fight, while the former lightweight contender Uno (27-12-5) is 0-1-1 since returning to the UFC in 2009, first losing to Spencer Fisher before fighting Fabricio Camoes to a draw in November.
