UFC 196 is right around the corner, and it will feature one of the more compelling heavyweight fights in recent memory.
In the main event, Fabricio Werdum will look to prove that he is indeed, the best heavyweight on the planet when he throws down with Cain Velasquez for a second time. In their first encounter last June, Werdum continued to impress, by outscoring Velasquez and tapping him out in round three.
But, there were a lot of questions surrounding Velasquez heading into the bout. He hadn’t fought in over a year-and-a-half, and further, he elected to not head out early and train in the high altitude of Mexico City (where the fight was held).
Well, on February 6th, they’ll do it again in Las Vegas. In advance of the bout the UFC has released this extended preview which you can check out below.
