Sergio Pettis Tells Sage Northcutt to Forget About The Critics After First Defeat

Sage Northcutt

Plenty of folks began piling on Sage Northcutt following his submission loss to Bryan Barberena at UFC on FOX 18, but Sergio Pettis¬†reached out and did the opposite…

There was no shortage of buzz and coverage tied to Northcutt in recent months, after the 19 year-old appeared on Dana White’s “Lookin’ For a Fight” and went on to win his first two UFC fights. But, after his loss to Barberena, the 19 year-old’s critics / haters had a field day.

Pettis, however, tweeted out this to Northcutt:

@sagenorthcutt I know how you r feeling.Don’t worry about what others say. Clear your head, get back in the gym and start over #youngbeast

Pettis you may recall, went 10-0 to begin his pro career, before he was submitted by Alex Caceres in 2014. The flyweight is just 22 years-old.
