Mike Brown to Fight at WEC 48 on Pay-Per-View

Former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown will next fight in May at WEC 48, the promotion’s pay-per-view debut headlined by featherweight title-holder Jose Aldo vs. former champ Urijah Faber.

MMA Fighting recently spoke to Brown, who said he’ll likely face Manny Gamburyan or the winner of a March matchup between LC Davis and Deividas Taurosevicius in the bout.

Brown (22-4) won the title from Urijah Faber in late-2008, then pushed his win streak to ten-straight with successful title defenses over Leonard Garcia and Faber, but lost the belt to Aldo last November. He rebounded last month with a first-round submission of Anthony Morrison at WEC 46.
