James Wilks vs. Peter Sobotta Likely for UFC 115

The Ultimate Fighter 9 welterweight winner James Wilks is expected to take on Peter Sobotta at UFC 115 on June 12 in Vancouver, Canada, according to, with both fighters looking to bounce back from losses in their most-recent UFC bouts.

Wilks (6-3) won TUF 9 with a first-round submission of DaMarques Johnson last June, but suffered a third-round TKO to Matt Brown at UFC 105 in his native England in November.

Sobotta (8-2) made his UFC debut in his home country of Germany last June, but dropped a unanimous decision to Paul Taylor. He had been scheduled to fight at UFC 105, but his military commitments prevented the bout.

UFC 115, which airs live on pay-per-view from the GM Place, is expected to be headlined by a matchup between former light heavyweight champs and TUF 11 coaches Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.
