UFC Signs Welterweight Prospect Charlie Brenneman to Four-Fight Deal

Charlie BrennemanWelterweight prospect Charlie Brennaman has signed a four-fight deal with the UFC, Mike Constantino, Brennaman’s manager, announced on Tuesday, with discussions ongoing for the UFC debut of “The Spaniard”.

Brenneman (11-1), the winner of the first season of Spike TV’s “Pros vs. Joes,” has lost just one professional bout, dropping a unanimous decision to current UFC 170-pounder John Howard in September 2008, but has improved to 11-1 with six-straight victories.

An NCAA Division I wrestler at Lock Haven, Benneman trains at AMA Fight Club alongside fellow UFC fighters Dan and Jim Miller. Six of his victories have come by TKO, including his two most-recent wins in October and January.
