UFC FN 90: Eddie Alvarez Puts Away Rafael dos Anjos, Daniel Cormier Gets New Opponent

The UFC has a new lightweight champion, as Eddie Alvarez buzzed the MMA world tonight by storming through Rafael dos Anjos at UFC FN 90.

The former Bellator champ wobbled dos Anjos with a massive, right hook not long into the bout, and followed up with a barrage of strikes. RDA tried to recover, but after he ate several more, big punches, referee Herb Dean stopped the action.

During the UFC FN 90 broadcast, it was announced that Daniel Cormier will take on Anderson Silva, in a non-title fight at UFC 200. How about that huh?

The light-heavyweight champ Cormier was originally scheduled to rematch Jon Jones, but the latter has been removed due to a potential anti-doping violation.
