Brock Lesnar hasn’t said much yet, after it was announced he’s been flagged for a potential anti-doping violation, but the pro-wrestling star has released a brief statement.
Following the news on Friday that Lesnar failed a pre-fight drug test, leading up to UFC 200, the former heavyweight champ told the Associated Press “we will get to the bottom of this.”
The substance Lesnar has allegedly tested positive for has yet to be disclosed. The powerful wrestler took on Mark Hunt at the July 9th event, and worked his way to a unanimous decision win.
Hunt, meanwhile, is extremely upset about the latest development, and has called on the UFC to give him Lesnar’s purse for the bout. Hunt is reportedly asking for his UFC release if he’s not compensated.
UFC 200 marked the first time Lesnar had fought since 2011, when he was stopped by Alistair Overeem.
