Less than a week after Derek Brunson defeated Uriah Hall at UFC Fight Night 94, the middleweight’s already been booked for his next fight.
The UFC’s announced that Brunson is going to take on Robert Whittaker next, and he’ll do so, in the latter’s country of Australia. The bout will be part of the November 26th (27th – local time) UFC 101 card in Melbourne.
Brunson’s stoppage win over Hall pushed his winning streak to five and his overall record to 16-3.
Whittaker is also riding a five fight winning streak and decisioned Rafael Natal in his last bout. The middleweight contender’s record is 16-4.
So, that’s a compelling bout between the #8 ranked 185’er in Brunson and the #7 ranked Whittaker.
