Tim Means to Throw Down With Alex Oliveira Next

Tim Means

The UFC matchmakers have had a busy few days, as another fight’s been added to the promotion’s December 30th event in Las Vegas.

Recently the Albuquerque Journal reported that welterweight Tim  Means will face Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira at UFC 207. “The Dirty Bird” has also confirmed the fight on his Twitter feed.

Means (26-7-1) is coming off a stoppage win over Sabah Homasi in August, after knocking out John Howard in December. The FIT NHB fighter is 4-1 in his last 5 bouts.

Oliveira (15-4-1) just fought at UFC FN 96 earlier this month and stopped former Bellator lightweight champ Will Brooks. Oliveira, who missed weight for the Brooks’ fight, was coming off a decision win over James Moontasri. Oliveira has also gone 4-1 in his last 5 scraps.

That’s another solid addition to UFC 207, which will be headlined by a bantamweight fight between champion Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey.
