Conor McGregor made history tonight at UFC 205, as the Irish star won his second championship by easily disposing of Eddie Alvarez.
Not long into the fight, McGregor sent Alvarez to the deck with his feared left hand. The latter got back to his feet, and appeared to be okay, but McGregor proceeded to drop him two more times in the opening round.
In round two, McGregor sent Alvarez crashing to the floor one more time, and referee “Big” John McCarthy had seen enough.With the win, the featherweight champ becomes the first person to hold two UFC titles at once.
