UFC

Following Ronda Rousey’s stoppage loss to Amanda Nunes, some folks questioned whether the star would have trouble landing more acting gigs, but clearly that’s not the case yet.

According to reports, Rousey has landed a guest star role on NBC’s “Blindspot” show, which airs on Wednesday nights. MMA Junkie received the following description of the role Rousey will be playing:

Rousey will be playing DEVON PENBERTHY: a female prison inmate who grew up in a working class family from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and is serving time for transporting weapons across state lines. She is a tough, athletic woman who knows how to fight and handle a weapon.

The date of Rousey’s first appearance hasn’t been announced, but she’s reportedly scheduled to appear on the show sometime in early May.

In terms of Rousey’s fighting career, the former bantamweight champ hasn’t announced yet whether she plans to continue competing.
