After signing a multi-fight deal with the UFC last month, undefeated lightweight Charles Oliveira will make his UFC debut against Darren Elkins on June 19 at The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale in Las Vegas, according to MMAjunkie.
Oliveira (12-0) made his MMA debut in early-2008 with three-straight stoppage victories in an eight-man, one night tournament in Brazil and has since improved to 12-0 while going to decision just once, most-recently winning a tournament in February with a pair of opening round wins.
Following back-to-back wins, Elkins (12-1) replaced an injured Spencer Fisher and made his UFC debut against Duane “Bang” Ludwig at the UFC’s Versus debut in March, earning a 44-second TKO after Ludwig suffered a broken ankle after being taken down.
The Ultimate Fighter 11 is headlined by Matt Hamill vs. Keith Jardine, and is also confirmed to include the finals of TUF 11’s middleweight tourney as well as Chris Leben vs. Aaron Simpson, Spencer Fisher vs. Dennis Siver, and James McSweeney vs. Travis Browne.
