So Lorenz Larkin is Fighting For Welterweight Crown in Bellator Debut

Lorenz Larkin

Lorenz Larkin argued he never was really pushed by the UFC, when he was fighting for the organization, but his new bosses have decided to do just that in his promotional debut.

Recently it was announced that Larkin has signed with Bellator, and today the promotion announced his first fight: at the company’s June 24th card at Madison Square Garden, Larkin’s going to take on welterweight champ, Douglas Lima.

If you missed it, Bellator is holding a pay-per-view for that card, which will also include Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva, Fedor Emelianenko vs. Matt Mitrione and lightweight champ Michael Chandler vs. Brent Primus.

So, obviously that’s a huge fight for Larkin, and no easy task; Lima is ridiculously dangerous.
